About Target Alpena
Building Opportunity. Strengthening Northeast Michigan.
Target Alpena Economic Development Corporation is a nonprofit organization committed to strengthening economic opportunity and quality of life throughout Northeast Michigan. Through economic development initiatives, business support, regional partnerships, resources, and collaboration, we work to create an environment where businesses can succeed, communities can grow, and Northeast Michigan can continue to thrive.
Our Mission
Strengthening Northeast Michigan Through Economic Development
Target Alpena works to support sustainable economic growth by connecting businesses, employers, communities, and regional partners with the resources and relationships they need to move forward.
Our work extends beyond helping individual businesses. A strong regional economy depends on successful businesses, a supported workforce, strong communities, and collaboration among organizations working toward common goals.
As part of its broader economic development efforts, Target Alpena provides focused support for small businesses while addressing child care as an essential component of workforce development. These initiatives reflect our commitment to creating opportunities, supporting local businesses, strengthening our workforce, and building a more prosperous Northeast Michigan.
Strong Businesses.
A Supported Workforce.
Strong Communities.
Working together to build a stronger Northeast Michigan.
OUR APPROACH
Local Support. Regional Collaboration. Lasting Impact.
Economic development doesn't happen through one organization alone. Target Alpena works alongside entrepreneurs, established businesses, employers, municipalities, community organizations, chambers of commerce, economic development organizations, and other regional and statewide partners.
By bringing together expertise, resources, programs, and relationships, we help connect people and businesses with opportunities that strengthen both their individual success and the Northeast Michigan economy.
Support
Helping entrepreneurs and established businesses access guidance, education, resources, and opportunities.
Connect
