Through our Small Business Support Hub, funded by the MEDC, we proudly extend our services to Alcona, Alpena, Cheboygan, Iosco, and Presque Isle Counties. Whether it’s one-on-one consulting, funding support, site selection assistance, or mentorship, we’re here to help businesses grow. By working closely with partners like the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, the Small Business Development Center, and local chambers of commerce, we play an active role in driving entrepreneurship and economic success across the region.

EVENTS
Local business Survey
Local businesses know best what is needed to succeed in this region. Target Alpena Development Corporation is inviting businesses across the region to take part in a short survey to help shape future business support services and programming, including the potential development of a business incubator.
We are looking for input from businesses of all sizes and stages. Your feedback will help us better understand what is working well, where gaps exist, and what types of supports would be most valuable for the local business community.
The survey takes approximately 5 to 10 minutes to complete. All responses will be kept confidential and shared only in aggregate.

Northeast Michigan Mentorship Cohort
the Northeast Michigan Mentorship Cohort—a dynamic initiative designed to empower small businesses and entrepreneurs throughout our five‑county region. This program pairs local business owners and professionals with emerging and growing businesses, offering real‑world guidance, encouragement, and practical insight. Participants will benefit from one‑on‑one mentoring and peer‑based cohort sessions focused on business readiness, workforce challenges, financial fundamentals, and long‑term sustainability.
